Associate Product Manager, Media Solutions

Avery Dennison•Little Rock, AR
•$82,275 - $122,860

About The Position

Vestcom is extending its shelf-edge data and media from print to digital, beginning with in-store screens. The Associate Product Manager, Media Solutions connects this strategy to the systems that enable it. The role maps end-to-end data flows, identifies gaps that prevent migration to digital formats, and converts those findings into a prioritized execution plan. This hands-on technical product role focuses on data, platform capabilities, customer discovery, and business cases to support accurate in-store screen deployments.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of media experience in a technical, data-heavy role, such as data analyst, solutions engineer, technical business analyst, Associate Product Manager, or similar.
  • Comfort writing SQL, independently exploring unfamiliar datasets, and tracing data movement between systems using API documentation and schemas.
  • Experience working day-to-day with engineering teams on requirements, tickets, or sprint work, with clear and concise writing.
  • Practical use of AI tools in one's work, sound judgment, and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digital signage or content management systems.
  • Experience with grocery retail product data.
  • Exposure to retail media networks and ad tech.

Responsibilities

  • Map end-to-end data flows from Vestcom source systems to in-store displays, independently querying data and confirming findings with engineering.
  • Identify data, API, and platform capability gaps that block the transition from analog shelf-edge media to digital formats, and develop a phased execution plan.
  • Write clear requirements and tickets, maintain a clean backlog, and deliver working, tested pipeline and platform changes in iterations.
  • Support QA by validating that data reaches screens correctly and ensuring engineers understand the context of the work they are building.
  • Participate in retailer and partner discovery to capture technical requirements, provide data inputs for business cases, and research expansion of the in-store media channel.

Benefits

  • Inclusive Care: expert, whole-health care regardless of gender identity.
  • 401(k) plan with an automatic contribution of 3% of eligible pay, even if the employee contributes nothing, plus a matching contribution of 50% on the first 7% of eligible pay contributed.
  • Medical insurance plan options, with Avery Dennison sharing plan costs.
