About The Position

This role is for an Associate Product Manager focused on the core experience of a financial services app called UGLYCASH, designed for creators, remote workers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs. The company is part of the Reserve project, aiming to increase economic opportunity and provide better money management tools, starting in Latin America. UGLYCASH has achieved significant revenue and customer growth. The role offers direct access to founders and founding engineers, with opportunities to learn how fintech and blockchain products work end-to-end. The focus is on improving transaction flows, card declines, deposit reliability, monitoring, and internal tools, with an emphasis on understanding root causes and preventing future issues. The position is designed for individuals early in their careers who want to gain comprehensive experience in fintech product management.

Responsibilities

  • Stay close to support, customer feedback, and product data to understand where people struggle.
  • Investigate issues alongside engineers, understand the impact, trace the root cause, and determine what should happen next.
  • Take defined improvements from prioritization through implementation, verification, and measurement.
  • Identify recurring problems and improve the product flows, monitoring, systems, or internal tools behind them.
  • Use AI to accelerate investigation, analyze data, automate repetitive work, and prototype solutions while checking the quality of the output.
  • Build the judgment to own increasingly complex parts of the core experience independently over time.
