About The Position

This role focuses on the core experience of moving real money within the UGLYCASH financial services app, which is designed for creators, remote workers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs. The Associate Product Manager will work directly with founders and founding engineers on transactions, card spending, and cross-market transfers. The position emphasizes learning how systems work by actively engaging with them, with a focus on improving customer experience through addressing issues like card declines, deposit flows, monitoring, and support tools. The role is designed for individuals early in their careers who want to understand the end-to-end workings of a fintech product.

• Ability to learn technical systems and work effectively with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Stay close to support, customer feedback, and product data to understand where people struggle.
• Investigate issues alongside engineers, understand the impact, trace the root cause, and determine what should happen next.
• Take defined improvements from prioritization through implementation, verification, and measurement.
• Identify recurring problems and improve the product flows, monitoring, systems, or internal tools behind them.
• Use AI to accelerate investigation, analyze data, automate repetitive work, and prototype solutions while checking the quality of the output.
• Build the judgment to own increasingly complex parts of the core experience independently over time.
