About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch. This frontline role builds customer relationships by supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The position supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications, and works with branch teammates to provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Strong relationship building, sound judgment, and balancing service with growth are important to success. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The role also includes cash handling and teller-line activities, accurate and compliant transaction processing, and flexibility between cash-handling and customer-banking work. Work schedules include Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the start date. Loan originators must meet applicable LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards, which may include credit-report review and ongoing screening. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to support branch growth and customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Perform cash handling and teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service while exercising sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists so customers reach the appropriate expertise.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.
Work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
