About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch in Lakewood, Colorado. This frontline role builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ financial goals and connects them with appropriate banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while collaborating with branch teammates to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Success requires relationship-building, sound judgment, and balancing customer service with business growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career development and mobility. The position also supports branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. Work schedules include Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the employee’s start date. Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Follow applicable policies and regulations, fulfill risk and compliance obligations, and timely escalate and remediate issues.
