About The Position
The Associate Patient Care Coordinator works onsite as part of a team of 13–16 patient service representatives focused on patient registration. The role checks patients in for appointments and works assigned queues to maintain accurate registration and billing information. The schedule is 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, and the pay is $24 per hour.
Requirements
- Healthcare experience with Epic, or customer service experience in a related setting.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Epic experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Check patients in for appointments.
- Collect copay, previous balance, and deductible payments.
- Handle sleep study and cardio device drop-offs.
- Provide patient IT support for MyChart pre-registration and check-in.
- Help patients with wayfinding.
- Work the Eligibility Errors queue.
- Work the RX Hub/Language Mismatch queue.
- Work the Cost Estimate queue for primary care and lab.
- Perform real-time eligibility (RTE) checks for Botox and infusion.
- Handle no-show letters for primary care.
