Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree in good standing.
  • Active California license.
  • DEA and TPA certifications.
  • Strong commitment to exceptional eye care and community vision health.
  • Confidence to make complex medical decisions and proactively treat ocular disease.
  • Comfortable working with children.
  • No criminal record or civil action suits related to the practice of optometry.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in myopia control.
  • Experience supporting comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope optometric care in accordance with California state guidelines while supporting a broad range of patient needs.
  • Use advanced diagnostic technology, including wide-field high-resolution photography, anterior and posterior OCT imaging, corneal topography, meibography and tear film analysis, tear assay testing, visual field technologies, video slit lamp imaging, and modern electronic refraction systems.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Complete self-audits.
  • Participate in practice development and administrative responsibilities as assigned by senior team members.
