Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree in good standing.
- Active California license.
- DEA and TPA certifications.
- Strong commitment to exceptional eye care and community vision health.
- Confidence to make complex medical decisions and proactively treat ocular disease.
- Comfortable working with children.
- No criminal record or civil action suits related to the practice of optometry.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in myopia control.
- Experience supporting comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope optometric care in accordance with California state guidelines while supporting a broad range of patient needs.
- Use advanced diagnostic technology, including wide-field high-resolution photography, anterior and posterior OCT imaging, corneal topography, meibography and tear film analysis, tear assay testing, visual field technologies, video slit lamp imaging, and modern electronic refraction systems.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Complete self-audits.
- Participate in practice development and administrative responsibilities as assigned by senior team members.
