About The Position

The Associate Material Team Manager represents tactical procurement in the CFT under the guidance of an MTM or MTM Sr. The role helps ensure materials are available on time and that supply status is clearly communicated. It focuses on executing “Clean to Build” processes, explaining material shortages, and coordinating resources to complete tasks on time. The position also supports the Material Team Manager with daily operations and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Google Workspace or MS Office skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
• General office equipment and materials.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 or more years of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze material availability against production schedules to ensure “Clean to Build” status.
• Escalate critical material issues for assistance through the Plexpedite process.
• Communicate customer support requirements to the buying team and align priorities related to material availability, deferrals, or cancellations.
• Provide detailed shortage information and support customer conversations as needed.
• Support the Material Team Manager in daily operational tasks and strategic initiatives.
• Support PPV avoidance and approval processes.
• Support site quoting and repricing activities.
• Manage ECO activity.
