About The Position

The Materials-Team Lead leads a team supporting the efficiency, quality, and production of an assembly line. The role provides production team members with certification training, communicates material needs, supports daily huddle meetings, assigns work, and helps ensure cross-training and job rotation. The position also maintains an organized and clean work area and performs other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator and Production Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use and regularly check Microsoft Outlook email.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to build trust and relationships with other team members.
• Clear and concise communication with team members.
• Ability to prioritize and plan, and use time efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• College education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for certification of production team members.
• Communicate materials needs to material handlers.
• Support the Area Coordinator, Production Manager, and team members through daily huddle meetings.
• Assign daily tasks to each team member and ensure cross-training and job rotation are being performed.
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator and Production Manager.
