About The Position

The Materials-Team Lead leads a team in supporting the efficiency, quality, and production of an assembly line. The role includes training production Team Members for certification, communicating materials needs, supporting daily huddle meetings, assigning tasks, ensuring cross-training and job rotation, and maintaining an organized and clean work area. The position also performs other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator and Production Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use and regularly check Outlook email.
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook.
• Proven ability to build trust and relationships with other Team Members.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Team Members.
• Ability to prioritize and plan, and use time efficiently.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

• College education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for certification of production Team Members.
• Communicate materials needs to material handlers.
• Support the Area Coordinator, Production Manager, and Team Members through daily huddle meetings.
• Assign daily tasks to each Team Member and ensure cross-training and job rotation are performed.
• Ensure the work area is organized and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator and Production Manager.
