About The Position

The Associate Manager, Social Compliance & Supplier Management owns supplier onboarding, social compliance, audit coordination, corrective action tracking, supplier scorecards, vendor accountability, supplier compliance records, and supplier governance communications. The role supports responsible sourcing and compliance with labor laws, human rights, forced labor, and supply chain traceability requirements while building supplier accountability and continuous improvement. The position is based at maurices’ corporate office in Duluth, Minnesota. Corporate associates work in the office at least three days per week, with teams setting core in-office days; remote work flexibility is guided by business needs and the nature of the role. The position is regular, full time, and offers an annual salary of $57,800–$69,300, plus eligibility for annual incentive compensation based on company performance.

Requirements

3+ years of supplier management, social compliance, responsible sourcing, or audit coordination experience.
Experience with supplier records, audits, corrective actions, scorecards, and vendor follow-up.
Skills in supplier accountability and follow-through, organization, documentation, audit readiness, vendor communication, issue escalation, and analytical review of supplier performance and compliance status.

Responsibilities

Manage supplier onboarding, vendor setup, documentation, and required compliance records.
Coordinate factory audits, social compliance requirements, corrective actions, and remediation tracking.
Maintain supplier scorecards, compliance ratings, exception logs, and recurring performance updates.
Coordinate MSA, Code of Conduct, Brand Policy, and related supplier governance updates, including vendor communications, internal partner updates, acknowledgment tracking, and record maintenance.
Escalate supplier-related input that may affect trade decisions for Trade Compliance review.
Review audit findings and supplier performance to identify risks and escalate critical issues.
Train factories, vendors, and internal teams on compliance standards and corrective actions.
Support compliance with labor laws, human rights, forced labor, and supply chain traceability requirements.
Build strong partnerships to drive supplier accountability and continuous improvement.
Provide expertise on labor laws, social compliance, corrective actions, and responsible sourcing.
