Assembly Associate - C Shift (Contractor Conversion)

About The Position

The Associate II, Assembly plays a key role in Cardinal Health’s manufacturing process for medical products. The role performs repetitive and non-repetitive production tasks to assemble components, subassemblies, or completed units using standard operating procedures. The associate operates multiple machines, conducts routine inspections of manufactured products, reports defects, and works with the quality team to investigate and identify root causes. The role also ensures manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport, while following applicable safety guidelines and processing standards. This is a C Shift role scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The listed pay rate is $17.55 per hour, including shift differential; the position is not bonus eligible. Requirements

Responsibilities

Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Measure and record data associated with operating and manufacturing equipment.
Verify outputs in the manufacturing process and ensure quality and quantity standards are met.
Inspect components for debris and other potential quality defects, and report defects to management and the quality team as needed.
Perform duties in compliance with company, local, state, and federal safety rules and regulations.
Ensure manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport.
Work with the quality team to investigate defects and identify root causes.
