About The Position

Ralliant is seeking an Assembler to work on the C shift. The role sets up and operates assembly equipment, rotates among work cells as directed, packs finished products for shipment, maintains a safe and clean work area, contributes to cell improvements, and follows established quality standards. The C shift runs from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The successful candidate must be available to train on A shift before moving to C shift.

Ralliant is an independent public company focused on precision technology, including instruments, sensors, and subsystems. Qualitrol, a Ralliant company, manufactures monitoring and protection devices for electrical assets and OEM manufacturers.

Requirements

• Proficient English reading and writing skills, including the ability to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and read measuring devices.
• Availability to train on A shift before moving to C shift.
• Regularly exert up to 20 pounds of force and occasionally up to 50 pounds; bend downward and forward at the waist; stand for sustained periods; and move about on foot to accomplish tasks.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly equipment, including small hydraulic presses, staking equipment, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotate into other work cells as instructed by the Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Pack finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Participate in making and implementing cell improvements.
• Perform duties in accordance with established quality standards.
