About The Position

Ralliant Corporation is seeking an Assembler to join the team on C shift, which runs from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The successful candidate will set up and operate assembly equipment, rotate among work cells as directed, pack finished products for shipment, maintain a safe and clean work area, contribute to cell improvements, and perform work according to established quality standards. The role requires training on A shift before moving to C shift.

QUALITROL, part of Ralliant Corporation, manufactures monitoring and protection devices for high-value electrical assets and OEM manufacturing companies. It produces customized products for customers and is a global provider of partial discharge monitoring, asset protection equipment, and information products across power generation, transmission, and distribution.

Requirements

• Proficient English reading and writing skills, including the ability to read and understand MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment, and to read measuring devices.
• Must be available to train on A shift before moving to C shift.
• Regularly exert up to 20 pounds of force and occasionally up to 50 pounds; bend downward and forward at the waist; stand for sustained periods; and move about on foot to accomplish tasks.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assembly equipment, including small hydraulic presses, staking equipment, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders.
• Rotate into other work cells as instructed by the Supervisor or Cell Leader.
• Pack finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Participate in developing and implementing cell improvements.
• Perform duties in accordance with established quality standards.
