About The Position

The Associate I, Retail Sales Floor ensures the sales floor is well stocked, organized, clean, and presented according to company standards. The role involves bringing processed clothing and other products to the sales floor, maintaining merchandise displays, and assisting customers with questions and shopping needs. Associates may help identify and pull products for E-Commerce, communicate sales-floor needs to the manager on duty, and cross-train or provide backup in other areas as needed. The job may include additional responsibilities beyond those listed.

This is a part-time role at the Lake Arbor Store, paying $16.51 per hour. The schedule may vary and may include weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime. The position is eligible for DailyPay. Part-time employees in the Retail and Sales/Operations Division are eligible for paid holidays, sick leave, jury duty, and bereavement leave. Employees may contribute to the retirement plan on a pre-tax or Roth basis; participation requires being at least 18 years old. Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed productivity standards and key performance indicators for assigned duties.
• Price merchandise according to Goodwill standards for product quality and value, researching items when necessary using the internet or company tools.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized by cleaning and arranging shelves and racks, picking up items, putting away products from racks, carts, or baskets, and returning unwanted merchandise to its proper place.
• Merchandise sales-floor areas to standards for category, color, and size, and make decisions about product placement to improve the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
• Communicate targeted sales-floor needs to the manager on duty to assist production.
• Provide customer service to customers and staff, follow the 10-foot rule, and answer product questions as needed.
• Rotate or remove old or unsold merchandise in a timely manner to refresh product selection.
• Identify and pull E-Commerce products from the sales floor.
• Follow retail center policies, procedures, and safety processes.
• Cross-train in other departments or areas and provide backup when required.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.
