Join our dynamic HR team to drive associate engagement, directly influencing associate relations and providing vital support to Sentry leaders and associates. As an Associate Human Resources Specialist, you will provide assistance to the associate relations team by answering associate inquiries, preparing documentation, conducting exit interviews, and researching employment law and company policies. You will support the resolution of associate relations issues including basic consulting and coaching, identifying tools and resources, risk mitigation, problem-solving, and independent decision making. With guidance from senior team members, you will provide advice and counsel to associates and management in exploring alternatives for resolution of work-related concerns. You will provide initial guidance on assigned associate dependability and performance cases and escalate complex issues for resolution. You will also assist the Talent Acquisition team with various recruiting functions and conduct recruitment cycles for assigned positions. Additionally, you will assist and evaluate metrics that are currently tracked or will be needed in the future, and assist in the development and distribution of reports used within the department. You will also assist multiple HR and Corporate departments providing support for associate events such as new associate orientation, on-site health screenings, philanthropic events (United Way), and benefits open house sessions.
