About The Position

As an Associate HRBP, you will be providing consultation and support to the Disney Live Entertainment team at Disneyland to deliver HR programs and solutions in support of both short-term and long-term business goals for Disney Experiences. Your Role Responsibilities… Demonstrate a working knowledge of the business and take a consultative approach in anticipating, assessing, and providing creative HR solutions to business priorities. Work closely with HR team, managers, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. Provide guidance to clients by partnering on moderately complex HR processes, procedures, precedents, and initiatives integrating appropriate centers of excellence (COE) partners, as necessary. Run and utilize reports to provide predictive analytics for future changes or decisions. Provide day to day performance management guidance. Consult on and/or execute Workday transactions. Assists with key talent processes including performance calibrations, talent review, succession planning, leadership development and talent assessment. Handles correspondence with clients including high level executives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years human resources generalist experience in progressively responsible roles
  • Experience and exposure to a variety of HR facets including organization development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, and compensation.
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted, and effective relationships with partners and clients.
  • Excellent consulting and conflict management skills
  • Sound judgment to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend multiple solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management skills, especially in an ambiguous environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to function independently with minimal supervision in a matrixed, fast-paced organization.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws

  • Advanced skill level using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HR Information Systems, such as Workday and SAP
