Associate HR Business Partner

Bond Vet•New York, NY

About The Position

Bond Vet is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to support several smaller regions as the organization grows. The role partners directly with regional and practice leaders and focuses on employee relations, leaves of absence, manager coaching, and supporting people programs. The position reports to the Senior Director, HRBP and works alongside HRBPs aligned to operations regions. The employee must live near a Bond Vet clinic in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Massachusetts and regularly visit clinics across their regions. This role is intended for an HR professional with a few years of experience who is ready to manage an independent group of regions and grow into a full HR Business Partner role. Success includes resolving and documenting employee relations cases consistently and on time; administering leaves accurately and compliantly; improving regional and early-tenure turnover; building manager confidence; and maintaining regular, planned visits to each clinic. Bond Vet describes itself as a veterinarian-founded and veterinarian-led organization focused on improving veterinary care through urgent and primary care, modern clinic design, technology, and a collaborative culture. The company states that Bond Vet and Small Door Veterinary merged in July 2026 to create a larger veterinary care organization.
