About The Position

MedVet Dayton is seeking a daytime ER doctor/Hospitalist for our growing ER and multispecialty hospital. The ideal candidate will be internship-trained and/or have 3–5 years of experience in a primary emergency or emergency/specialty hospital.

Requirements

• Internship-trained and/or have 3–5 years of experience in a primary emergency or emergency/specialty hospital

Responsibilities

• Overseeing inpatients and managing cases transferring from the ER and specialty departments
• Updating clients and referral partners on inpatient status
• Partnering with emergency service to see appointments when appropriate
• Working with the hospital leadership team to optimize clinical workflow and standard operating procedures
• Contributing to the ongoing education of clinical team members
