Associate Emergency Veterinarian (Hospitalist)
About The Position
MedVet Dayton is seeking a daytime ER doctor/Hospitalist for our growing ER and multispecialty hospital. The ideal candidate will be internship-trained and/or have 3–5 years of experience in a primary emergency or emergency/specialty hospital. MedVet is one of the largest employee-owned and veterinarian-led multispecialty and emergency practices in the country, offering the opportunity to become a shareholder. Requirements
- Internship-trained and/or have 3–5 years of experience in a primary emergency or emergency/specialty hospital
Responsibilities
- Overseeing inpatients and managing cases transferring from the ER and specialty departments
- Updating clients and referral partners on inpatient status
- Partnering with emergency service to see appointments when appropriate
- Working with the hospital leadership team to optimize clinical workflow and standard operating procedures
- Contributing to the ongoing education of clinical team members
