About The Position

The Associate Director, Revenue Management is responsible for providing direction, management, and training to the department regarding department projects and new business assignments. This role supports the VP, Revenue Management and is expected to manage project activities for all department initiatives focused on system and process improvements. Key responsibilities include vendor management, PO and budget management, approving new customer master setups, monitoring internal control procedures for SOX compliance, overseeing adjudication wins, and managing external audits to maximize Amneal's return. The Associate Director will also serve as a super user of SAP and provide training to US and India team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline - Required
  • 8 years or more in the pharmaceutical industry with an emphasis on finance or customer contract administration and sales support.
  • 5 years or more of working knowledge of SAP.
  • 2 years or more of experience in pharmaceutical revenue management, Gross to Net, royalties, etc.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word required
  • Advanced skills in SAP and Cognos required

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced skills in Model N Flex system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management for all Revenue Management initiatives for system and process improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with department team leads, IT, and outside consultants to champion critical process initiatives designed to increase productivity, customer satisfaction, and quality, while decreasing process cycle-time, overall cost, and revenue leakage.
  • Stay current on and evaluate Model N quarterly releases, identifying enhancements that could benefit the department's operations.
  • Represent the team in Amneal initiatives such as CPQ and Amneal Direct additions and manage department tasks to completion.
  • Manage the implementation of additional transactions for AvKare, such as fees, rebates, Medicaid and GP.
  • Partner with VP to prioritize projects, develop project plans, interview vendors, establish project teams, and manage projects to successful completion.
  • Address any issues that arise during projects and identify solutions.
  • Prioritize project tasks and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
  • Review and approve all new customer set ups for direct customers, including portal customers, non-portal customers, and vendor accounts for rebates and drop-ship accounts for Naloxone state contracts (approximately 1500 per month).
  • Evaluate COT for compliance to Amneal policies and partner with GP and Membership teams to implement any required changes.
  • Partner with VP, Revenue Management to evaluate procedures and controls and identify possible automation and streamlined processes to improve productivity and maintain accuracy and compliance without additional controls.
  • Manage relationships with outside vendors for Flex, BTI, APS, and ReturnsRx, as well as Integrichain, BRG, Kalderos, and Inmar.
  • Manage all POs in Coupa, validate invoices, and update the department expense tracker to ensure compliance with budget and vendor contracts.
  • Ensure the team's fulfillment of all internal and external audit requests.
  • Keep VP, Revenue Management aware of any material audit issues.
  • Partner with VP on user access audits.
  • Manage outside audits to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform monthly audits of contract and pricing expirations in the Model N Flex system and ensure updates are accurate in the Gross-to-Net system.
  • Perform monthly audit of customer master changes.
  • Assist with month-end report reconciliations and cash rebate estimates.
  • Partner with VP Revenue Management to act as a business liaison from Revenue Management on the Company’s planning and integration teams during Company acquisitions of either target companies or products to ensure his/her teams support the successful integration into GTN processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide support to other departments for their contract customer initiatives, such as the Direct portal.
  • Escalate critical issues to VP Revenue Management when necessary to mitigate risk and maintain smooth business operations.
  • Work alongside IT to identify and understand AI options for the department.
  • Partner with VP on possible uses for process improvement.
  • As needed, oversee the development of reports in BTI and within Flex/JDE/SAP based on team’s requirements that will reduce manual efforts.
  • Establish a positive rapport amongst staff and other departments.
  • Assist with any Business Development efforts or software implementations as needed.
  • Host staff meetings to communicate departmental project updates and provide opportunities to train team members as needed.
