Associate Director, Qualified Treatment Center (QTC) Marketing

The job overview for the position of Associate Director, Qualified Treatment Center (QTC) Marketing at bluebird bio is to develop and execute a marketing strategy for Qualified Treatment Centers (QTCs) in order to deliver on brand strategy and ensure effective and consistent messaging. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing agency partners, and integrating strategic insights from QTC stakeholders into brand strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial biopharma, specifically in rare diseases, and demonstrated expertise in marketing to hospital/institutional stakeholders. Strong organizational and project management skills are also required.

• Develop an aligned marketing strategy for Qualified Treatment Centers (QTCs) in partnership with the QTC Engagement Strategy Lead and Brand teams
• Lead the execution of the QTC marketing strategy, including driving the development of QTC-facing resources
• Partner with cross-functional teams in the development of QTC-facing resources for use by multiple field teams
• Work with internal and external partners to identify key strategic insights from QTC stakeholders and integrate learnings into brand strategies and activities
• Contribute to brand initiatives across the portfolio to ensure QTC stakeholder needs are represented and integrated
• Manage agency partners, including timelines, budgets, and resources, and champion promotional materials through the review process
• Bring a customer and QTC-centric mindset to all tasks and responsibilities
• Have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
• Have 7+ years of experience in the commercial biopharma space, with 4+ years in a biotech marketing role
• Have experience in marketing to hospital/institutional stakeholders
• Have experience in a high science, competitive market
• Product launch experience is preferred
• Possess strong organizational and project management skills

• Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in the commercial biopharma space, including market insights, sales, and marketing
• 4+ years of experience in a biotech marketing role, preferably in rare disease (specifically Hematology, Hematology/Oncology or Stem Cell/Bone Marrow Transplant)
• Cell and Gene Therapy experience is a plus
• Demonstrated expertise in marketing to hospital/institutional stakeholders
• Experience in a high science, competitive market is required
• Product launch experience is preferred
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to successfully drive a project.
