The Associate Director Oncology Regional Marketing will be part of a focused, field-based marketing team. The primary purpose of this role is to engage and develop Thought Leaders, and to execute regional meetings and programs for NUBEQA and XOFIGO targeting Healthcare Professionals (HCPs). The ultimate goal is to contribute to achieving the sales targets for the franchise, with NUBEQA being the priority brand due to its potential and lifecycle. This role will require travel to customer meetings, industry trade shows, advocacy events, and corporate meetings. The geographical coverage for this position includes Boston, NYC, and the states of the Northeast.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • 5-7 years’ experience in the pharma/biotech industry
  • At least 2 years of customer-facing experience
  • 2 years experience working within the oncology or urology therapeutic areas
  • Proven accomplishment in identifying and driving a strategic approach to business
  • Proven track record of sales, customer-facing success, and/or superior project management
  • Significant experience in creating, maintaining, and growing relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to advance parallel initiatives in a fast-paced environment, show attention to detail, and follow through to completion
  • Proactive, results-oriented, hard-working, self-starter motivated by a challenging task
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally, both within the organization and with external partners, collaborating to ensure successful project completion
  • Desire to take the next step in your career to build a marketing capability or advance in sales leadership

Responsibilities

  • Act as Brand Champion to deliver brand communication strategy.
  • Key opinion leader (KOL) engagement and relationship management.
  • Regional Convention leadership and execution.
  • Speaker’s bureau management.
  • Marketing initiatives and Programs execution.
  • Field partnership and collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain KOL relationships for the prostate franchise to communicate product strategy and build a supportive TL base, with a focus on academic centers and key accounts in the North-East.
  • Identify and recommend TLs for brand insight and peer-to-peer programs.
  • Deepen customer relationships through various channels and activities (conferences, advisory boards, consulting, speaker’s bureau).
  • Collaborate with field teams to identify key KOLs/stakeholders, focusing on the highest target/influential individuals.
  • Coordinate and execute plans for company presence at regional conferences and contribute to national conferences, including sponsorships, TL engagement, and promotional programs.
  • Support executive and senior leadership encounters at major industry conventions (e.g., AUA, ASCO).
  • Create content and materials for a strong presence at Congresses, ensuring internal approval.
  • Share conference outputs and key insights with sales and brand teams.
  • Lead identification and monitor utilization of TLs for marketing-led speaker programs.
  • Provide input for updating peer-to-peer program content.
  • Support the field with speaker assessment and selection.
  • Own or contribute to marketing projects that drive brand strategy, such as field resource development, digital marketing, advisory board coordination, GPO initiatives, and POA planning.
  • Work on assigned advisory boards, covering objectives, attendance, and content creation.
  • Actively participate on the prostate franchise field advisory board, piloting new materials and testing effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of regional strategic business plans and the marketing team’s plans by providing key customer insight/intelligence.
  • Partner with sales consultants, key account executives, radiation therapy specialists, oncology nurse educators, national accounts team, medical affairs, and other internal partners to align on business strategy.
