About The Position

The Associate Director, Global Business Development drives new customer acquisition and identifies growth opportunities for Perrigo’s Global Contract Manufacturing business. Reporting to the Global Commercial Leader, Contract Manufacturing, the role translates the established growth strategy into customer acquisition, market engagement, and business development plans. It is a highly commercial “hunter” position focused on creating new opportunities rather than managing existing business. The role identifies where Perrigo’s manufacturing capabilities, product development expertise, technical know-how, and product assets offer the strongest growth potential. It develops targeted plans to acquire customers across existing OTC categories and adjacent categories where Perrigo can compete. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution: defining target markets, establishing access plans, building industry networks, and personally engaging customers to develop and close opportunities. It leads one Account Executive and participates in customer-facing activities alongside them. Success is measured by pipeline creation, new customer acquisition, strategic partnership development, and revenue growth through new business. The position may be remote for U.S. candidates, preferably in Eastern and Midwest states. Approximately 50% travel is required, including international travel. The role collaborates with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance, as well as Account Executives managing existing customer relationships where expansion opportunities are appropriate.
