About The Position

Canvas Worldwide is an independent media agency that develops creative solutions for brands that challenge the status quo. The Associate, Brand Strategy assists in developing and executing strategic multimedia plans and marketing recommendations, contributing across the campaign lifecycle, including research, planning, implementation, and stewardship. The role manages assigned Strategy deliverables and follows established processes through completion, ensuring deadlines are met and proactively communicating shifts in timing or priorities. It supports the Strategy team with media flowchart and presentation updates, data pulls and analysis, budget maintenance, approval documentation, and timely media-specific meeting recaps. The Associate develops proficiency with the team's planning tools and data sources, validates information, and helps ensure recommendations have clear supporting rationale. The role also builds working knowledge of the client's brand, products, audiences, KPIs, media strategy, and business priorities. Following plan approval, the Associate manages Strategy-owned campaign execution, including approvals, tracking numbers, investment specifications, activation forms, and related documentation. The role ensures deliverables and handoffs are complete and accurate, maintains campaign budgets, supports reconciliation and billing readiness, and organizes campaign records for retrieval. It works collaboratively with internal teams, clients, partner agencies, and media partners; responds to communications in a timely manner; flags risks and missing inputs; and communicates relevant meeting decisions to the Strategy team. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days in the office each week. Travel requirements are little to none.
