Associate Auditor, External Audit and Assurance Services, Wheeling, WV
About The Position
S.R. Snodgrass is seeking candidates dedicated to working with mission-driven nonprofit organizations for an Associate Auditor position within their Audit and Assurance Group. This role will primarily serve nonprofit clients in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. It is a full-time, in-person position requiring an average of 45 hours per week, with potential for additional hours during busy seasons (55-60 hours per week). The position involves maintaining ongoing communication with firm management regarding fieldwork status, preparing various reports according to firm policies, and nurturing client relationships throughout the audit process. Travel to clients is expected, with out-of-town travel comprising less than 20% of the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (accounting degree preferred; finance, business, and other fields will be considered although certain accounting courses are required)
- GPA 3.0 or greater is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrate effective teamwork skills, including verbal and written communication
- Highly organized with good time management skills

Responsibilities
