About The Position

Ashurst Perkins Coie (US) LLP is seeking a junior associate to join its Technology Strategy, Disputes & Transactions practice. The position is available in multiple offices. The ideal candidate has at least one year of relevant experience and subject matter expertise in one or more of the technology areas listed in the posting. Experience at an AmLaw 50 law firm and excellent academic credentials are required. Applicants should attach a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript. Compensation is $225,000 to $260,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and the benefits listed in the posting. Requirements

At least one year of experience in one or more of the listed areas.
Experience working at an AmLaw 50 law firm.
Excellent academic credentials.
Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: enterprise software, cloud services, outsourcing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, financial technologies and payment systems, mobile applications, e-commerce, interactive entertainment (including games), digital content, or hardware.

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate licensing and technology agreements.
Advise on intellectual property issues.
Support mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions.
Support transactions involving new technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain.
Advise start-ups and emerging companies on development, manufacturing, and product launch issues.
