About The Position

Kilpatrick’s Technology Transactions practice is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented associate to advise clients on sophisticated technology, intellectual property, and commercial transactions across a broad range of industries, and to provide product counseling on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. The work includes complex matters involving business process and IT outsourcing, technology sourcing, IP and technology licensing, software and product development agreements, strategic collaborations, manufacturing and supply arrangements, and technology development and commercialization, including matters involving AI, cloud services, data, and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate has sound business judgment and experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, working directly with clients, and supporting multiple partners in a fast-paced practice. The position is based in Kilpatrick’s Atlanta office.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a transactional practice at a large law firm.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Ability to support multiple partners in a fast-paced practice.
• Sound business judgment.
