About The Position

Kilpatrick’s Technology Transactions practice is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented associate to advise clients on sophisticated technology, intellectual property, and commercial transactions across a broad range of industries. The associate will also provide product counseling on cutting-edge and transformative technologies, including artificial intelligence. The work includes complex business process and IT outsourcing transactions, technology sourcing arrangements, IP and technology licensing, software and product development agreements, strategic collaborations, manufacturing and supply arrangements, and technology development and commercialization transactions involving areas such as AI, cloud services, data, and digital platforms. The role is based in the firm’s Atlanta office. Kilpatrick is a full-service international law firm with more than 600 attorneys, serving clients in established and emerging industries around the world.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a transactional practice of a large law firm.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Sound business judgment.
• Ability to support multiple partners in a fast-paced practice.

Responsibilities
