About The Position

Redfin is hiring an Associate Agent to work with real estate customers in the Lake Norman / Denver market. The role is intended for both newer agents looking to develop their skills and experienced agents seeking flexibility. Associate Agents work with customers on their own schedule and earn money per field event without needing to close transactions. The position involves showing homes, hosting open houses, and attending inspections. Agents set their own hours and control their workload; customer opportunities are especially plentiful on weekends. The work is performed remotely in the field, with no office visits required. Redfin offers free, optional educational services to help agents develop their skills. As an independent contractor, the agent receives a flat-rate payment for each field event. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications may be invited to a video screen. A recruiter will provide next steps if there is an opening in the applicant’s area; otherwise, Redfin may retain the applicant’s information and contact them when new contract opportunities become available. Redfin conducts background screening for the role consistent with applicable law and considers qualified applicants with criminal record histories.

Requirements

Hold a real estate license in the state where the agent will work.
Be willing to affiliate the license exclusively with Redfin.
Have a smartphone, laptop, and GPS, or be willing to obtain them.
Be willing to join the local MLS and Realtor Association.
Have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the market.
