About The Position

Redfin is hiring an Associate Agent to work with real estate customers on a flexible schedule as an independent contractor. The role involves field events such as showing homes, hosting open houses, and attending inspections. Agents set their own hours and control their workload, with many customer opportunities, especially on weekends. There is no sales pressure, contract management, or transaction closing. The work is performed remotely in the field, with no office visits required. Free, optional educational services are available to help agents grow their skills. Compensation is a flat-rate payment per field event. Applicants must hold a real estate license in the state where they will work and be willing to affiliate their license exclusively with Redfin. They also need or must be willing to obtain a smartphone, laptop, and GPS; join the local MLS and Realtor Association; and have reliable transportation with the ability to travel within their market. Applicants who meet minimum qualifications may be invited to a video screen, and a recruiter will follow up if there is an opening in the area. If there is no current opening, Redfin may retain their information for future contract opportunities.
