About The Position

Redfin is hiring an Associate Agent in New Haven to work with real estate customers on a flexible schedule as an independent contractor. The role is suited to new agents seeking to grow their skills or experienced agents seeking flexibility. Associate Agents earn a flat-rate payment for each field event and can work with customers without closing transactions. The work includes showing homes, hosting open houses, and attending inspections. Agents set their own hours and manage their workload, with customer opportunities especially on weekends. The role has no sales pressure, contracts, or closings, and work is performed remotely in the field without office visits. Redfin offers free, optional educational services to help agents grow their skills. Applicants must hold a real estate license in the state where they will work and be willing to affiliate it exclusively with Redfin. They must also be willing to join the local MLS and Realtor Association, have a reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel within their market, and have or be willing to obtain a smartphone, laptop, and GPS. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications may be invited to a video screen.
