About The Position

Foundation is hiring an Associate AEO Marketing Director (Associate Account Director) to manage a portfolio of four to seven mid-market clients with a total book of $0.75–1.5 million. The role owns client relationships, renewals, growth, and account margins, serving as the first point of contact for each client's marketing leader. In collaboration with a Group AEO Marketing Director, the Associate sets strategic direction and develops account plans. Account plans are built with the AEO Program Director and Group AEO Marketing Director. The role is a development path toward AEO Marketing Director as the portfolio grows beyond $1.5 million or the employee takes on larger client relationships. Foundation helps B2B technology and SaaS brands become more visible, cited, and recommended when buyers use AI to find solutions. Its Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) work spans research, content, distribution, and optimization across LLMs, search, Reddit, YouTube, and other sources. The position reports to a Group AEO Marketing Director. The compensation package includes a base salary of $88,000–$110,000, depending on experience and location, plus target variable compensation of 15% of base, paid quarterly based on retention, book growth, and margin. US salary ranges may be adjusted based on state cost of labor; benefits are in addition to base salary.
