About The Position

Reporting into Global VP of Marketing Science, the Associate Director, AEO Measurement will help build the measurement foundation of Influencer’s Creator-First AEO capability while contributing to our broader Marketing Science work across clients and campaigns. This role is responsible for turning complex AI-search data into credible, usable intelligence. You will analyze how brands appear across AI engines, identify the sources and signals associated with those results, establish competitive benchmarks, and build measurement frameworks that help us understand how visibility and brand representation change over time. Working closely with Creative Strategy, you will distill large amounts of data into the insights that actually matter — giving strategists, creators and clients a clear understanding of what is happening, where the opportunity exists and what we can learn from activation. Alongside AEO, you will support overall Marketing Science responsibilities across campaign measurement, client reporting, insights and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience across marketing science, analytics, measurement, digital intelligence, search, social analytics or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large or complex datasets.
  • Ability to identify meaningful patterns and translate data into clear business and strategic insights.
  • Experience developing measurement frameworks, benchmarks and client reporting.
  • Understanding of digital marketing measurement, attribution and the distinction between correlation and causation.
  • Experience with dashboards, visualization and analytics platforms.
  • Curiosity and working knowledge of AI search, AEO, SEO or emerging digital discovery; direct AEO experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence explaining complex methodologies to non-technical and senior client audiences.
  • Understanding of creator/social marketing measurement is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate comfortably across innovation work and BAU client responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze how brands are represented across AI-driven discovery.
  • Use AEO data sources and platforms to understand how brands appear across AI engines.
  • Analyze prompts, responses, citations, sources, topics and brand representation.
  • Identify patterns in the sources, content types and third-party voices associated with AI responses.
  • Surface gaps and opportunities that can inform creator strategy and activation.
  • Build a clear picture of brand performance relative to competitors.
  • Benchmark clients against relevant competitors across AI visibility, citations, representation and share of voice.
  • Identify where competitors are outperforming and investigate the signals associated with that advantage.
  • Track changes in competitive position over time.
  • Translate competitive data into clear insights for Creative Strategy and clients.
  • Turn large and complex datasets into usable intelligence.
  • Distill AEO platform data into the findings that matter most to strategists, clients and creator briefs.
  • Separate meaningful patterns from noise and prioritize insights based on potential strategic value.
  • Partner closely with Creative Strategy to ensure data translates into clear hypotheses and actions.
  • Develop repeatable approaches to analyzing AEO data across clients and categories.
  • Build credible approaches for evaluating Creator-First AEO.
  • Establish pre-activation baselines across relevant indicators including AI visibility, citations, brand representation and share of voice.
  • Define appropriate KPIs and measurement windows based on the objectives of each engagement.
  • Analyze changes following creator activation and identify correlations, patterns and emerging learnings.
  • Clearly distinguish correlation from causation and ensure conclusions accurately reflect what the data can support.
  • Develop benchmarks and longitudinal datasets as Influencer’s AEO work scales.
  • Use learnings to identify which creator, content and strategic approaches appear most strongly associated with positive movement.
  • Make complex measurement simple and credible.
  • Build dashboards, recurring reports and client-ready outputs that make AEO performance easy to understand.
  • Join key client meetings to explain methodology, findings and limitations.
  • Support pitches and new-business conversations requiring measurement expertise.
  • Partner with Creative Strategy to develop integrated strategic and measurement narratives.
  • Help establish Influencer’s external POV on how Creator-First AEO should be measured.
  • Contribute to Influencer’s broader Marketing Science practice.
  • Support campaign measurement, reporting and analysis across priority clients.
  • Analyze creator and campaign performance to identify actionable insights and optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute to measurement frameworks spanning attention, engagement, brand and business outcomes.
  • Support brand studies, platform measurement, attribution and other Marketing Science initiatives where appropriate.
  • Build clear, client-ready reporting and help teams turn campaign data into recommendations for future activity.
  • Contribute to pitches, QBRs and strategic client conversations requiring measurement expertise.
