About The Position

Aberdeen Ridge is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The role is responsible for ensuring that supervision and care comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as requirements set by the department director or supervisor, to maintain the highest degree of quality care. The LPN is expected to reflect the value that the resident comes first, recognize the Community as the residents’ home, help create attributes of home, and model person-centered care. The shift is PRN. Pay is $32.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved LPN program.
Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
I.V. certification.
