About The Position

The Waterford at Fitchburg is seeking a reliable, compassionate Med Passer to administer medications and support residents and fellow caregivers. The role calls for dependability, empathy, teamwork, leadership by example, attention to detail, and strong communication. The Med Passer should treat residents with patience, kindness, dignity, and personalized care while helping foster a positive, respectful work environment. All shifts are available: AM, PM, and NOC.

Requirements

• CBRF certification is required.
• Demonstrated reliability and accountability, including punctuality and follow-through.
• Compassion and empathy when providing personalized care to residents.
• Ability to work supportively and cooperatively with caregivers and the care team.
• Professionalism, sound judgment, initiative, and a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail in medication administration and documentation.
• Strong communication with residents, caregivers, leadership, and other care team members.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with applicable regulations, training, and established policies.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition or medication-related concerns.
• Partner with caregivers to ensure residents receive timely, attentive, and compassionate care.
• Help maintain a supportive, respectful environment where team members work together to achieve the best outcomes for residents.
• Model accountability, teamwork, and professionalism.
