About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking an Assisted Living Building CNA in Royal Oak, Michigan. The role provides compassionate care to residents in an assisted living environment and supports their daily needs, safety, mobility, and participation in activities. The CNA works with residents, families, and healthcare team members to provide quality care and maintains accurate documentation of services provided.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification in the state of Michigan.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable, with a commitment to resident dignity and respect.

- Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide basic health care services, such as taking vital signs, and report changes in residents’ conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Support residents’ mobility and encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
- Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to support high-quality care.
- Document care provided accurately and promptly according to company policies.
