Assistant UPK Teacher - Full Time
About The Position
The Malvern School is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented Assistant Teacher for its UPK classroom at The Malvern School of Marlton. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday. The teacher assists with implementing the school’s Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and philosophy, maintains a safe, healthy, educational classroom environment, and communicates regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding their expectations. The Malvern School provides innovative programming and follows a quality, child-centered philosophy. Its curriculum is designed to meet or exceed standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), with attention to health and safety, teacher training, excellent teaching materials, and developmentally sound, appropriately challenging education. Requirements
- High school diploma.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Either at least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility, or 15 relevant college credits (or a CDA) and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
- Communicate regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
