About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Track Coach for the 26-27 school year at Bethel High School. The role involves supporting the athletic program and coaching assigned sports.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for athletics.
• Current First Aid and C.P.R. card.
• Must attend a training class on Hepatitis B and HIV, receive vaccination for Hepatitis B if necessary, and take the district's class on sexual harassment training.
• Will be fingerprinted for a background check.
• Assistant coaches must be 19 years of age.
• Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years.

Nice To Haves

• Classroom teacher is preferred but, not required.

• Demonstrates knowledge of assigned sports fundamentals.
• Organizational and motivational skills.
• Ability to model behavior as outlined in Coaches Handbook.
