About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Boys Tennis Coach for the 26-27 school year at Spanaway Lake High. The role requires enthusiasm for athletics, availability for all related activities, and knowledge of assigned sports fundamentals. The coach must be able to model behavior as outlined in the Coaches Handbook, possess organizational and motivational skills, and have successful coaching experience and training over a period of years. A willingness to support the total athletic program is essential. Current First Aid and C.P.R. certification is required. Successful candidates will need to attend training on Hepatitis B and HIV, receive vaccination for Hepatitis B if necessary, and complete district sexual harassment training. Fingerprinting for a background check is also required. Per WIAA Regulations, assistant coaches must be at least 19 years of age. While a classroom teacher is preferred, it is not a requirement.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for athletics.
• Current First Aid and C.P.R. card.
• Must be 19 years of age (pursuant to WIAA Regulations for assistant coaches).
