About The Position

The Head Baseball Coach will be responsible for leading the baseball program at Cedarcrest Middle School for the 26-27 school year. This role requires enthusiasm for athletics, availability for all related activities, and a strong understanding of baseball fundamentals. The coach must be able to organize and motivate players, model appropriate behavior, and support the overall athletic program. Successful coaching experience and current First Aid and CPR certification are required. New hires must complete training on Hepatitis B and HIV, receive the Hepatitis B vaccination if necessary, and undergo district sexual harassment training. Fingerprinting for a background check is also required. Head coaches must be at least 21 years of age, per WIAA Regulations. While a classroom teaching position is preferred, it is not a requirement for this role.

Ability to model behavior as outlined in Coaches Handbook.
Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years.
Willingness to support the total athletic program.
