About The Position

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is hiring an Assistant Toddler Teacher to support a safe and engaging classroom environment where toddlers are encouraged to explore and learn. Working alongside the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Toddler Teacher helps implement age-appropriate learning activities using the High Scope curriculum. This role is for someone passionate about early childhood education and making a meaningful difference in young learners’ lives. The position is regular, full-time, onsite at the Clarkston or Rochester, Michigan campus, with Monday–Friday, eight-hour day shifts. The pay range is $15–$18 per hour, based on certification or degree and years of early childhood education experience. The desired start date is ASAP. The position does not qualify for U.S. visa sponsorship or relocation. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Reliable transportation.
Consent to background screening, including fingerprinting.
CPR certification is required for all teaching staff and must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with toddlers in a classroom setting is preferred.
Prior experience with the High Scope curriculum is a plus.
A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
