About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom at its Marlboro school. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. The teacher assists with implementing a high-quality early childhood education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy, maintains a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment, and communicates regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding their expectations.

Its curriculum is designed to meet or exceed National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Either at least 2,500 hours (1 year, 4 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility, or 15 relevant college credits (or a CDA) and at least 1,250 hours (8 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
