About The Position

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is hiring an Assistant Toddler Teacher to help create a safe, engaging classroom where toddlers can explore, grow, and learn. Working alongside the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Toddler Teacher supports age-appropriate learning activities using the High Scope curriculum. This role is for someone passionate about early childhood education and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.

The position is regular, full-time, onsite in Clarkston or Rochester, Michigan. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour day shifts. Pay is $15–$18 per hour, based on certification or degree and years of experience in early childhood education. The desired start date is ASAP. The position does not qualify for U.S. visa sponsorship or relocation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• Consent to background screening, including fingerprinting.
• CPR certification is required for all teaching staff and must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with toddlers in a classroom setting is preferred.
• Prior experience with the High Scope curriculum is a plus.
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
