About The Position

This is an Assistant Teacher position at Childtime of Stow. The role involves caring for children and helping inspire them to become lifelong learners. Assistant Teachers follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure children receive daily care, maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and develop their ability to observe, assess, and plan for children and communicate effectively with families. The role includes extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
