About The Position

The T.E.A. Center is seeking a part-time or full-time Assistant Teacher to join its supportive, family-owned childcare community. The Assistant Teacher works alongside an experienced Lead Teacher to help create a safe, engaging, and joyful classroom environment. The role supports daily routines, learning activities, and hands-on experiences that help children grow, explore, and thrive. The position pays $13–$17 per hour and requires availability at least two days per week. Five-day availability is preferred, as is consistent availability between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM. A minimum one-year commitment is preferred. No teaching experience is required; training is provided. The role may be a good fit for college or senior high school students.
