About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring a part-time Assistant Guide for its school in Katy. The role supports a mixed-age Toddler Montessori classroom, helping children develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. The Assistant Guide helps create a calm, engaging environment in which children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. This includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Guidepost Montessori is a network of more than 80 schools across the U.S. and Asia serving children from 3 months to 6 years old. Its mission is to help children reach their highest potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 0–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach; prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.
