About The Position

We are seeking Assistant Teachers to join our team at New Horizon Academy in Ankeny, IA! The role requires availability for at least 2-3 hours each day until 6pm, with flexibility to work any shift between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm. New Horizon Academy participates in the WAGE$ program and offers Child Care Assistance with the State of Iowa, which can cover up to 100% of the cost of childcare for those with children attending our schools. This position is a full-time role with a flexible schedule, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will have a positive work ethic, a team-centered attitude, a willingness to learn and grow as an educator, and a genuine enjoyment of working with children. The work is considered essential due to the critical importance of a child's first five years for social and emotional brain development.

Requirements
