About The Position

Turtle River Montessori is hiring a toddler classroom Assistant Teacher. The role supports implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepares and organizes learning materials, and supervises children throughout activities, including meals and naptime, to help maintain a safe and positive learning environment. The position also involves supporting children’s development and growth and creating a harmonious classroom environment for children and fellow teachers. The role is part of Endeavor Schools, which operates more than 100 schools in 14 states. The position requires Level 2 background screening under Florida law; candidates may need to complete screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

Complete 45 DCF hours within one year of employment.
First Aid/CPR certification is required.
1–2 years of experience in an early childhood classroom.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
Complete Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law; candidates may be required to use the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
