About The Position

Assistant Teachers help provide daily care for children in a child care center while following licensing guidelines and company standards. They maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom; develop their ability to observe and assess children and plan for their needs; and communicate effectively with families. The role includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
